www.porathsearch.com |  |  A lawyer by training, former television news presenter, and a search consultant by profession, Mark Porath completed his second term as a director of IIC Partners in 2008.
Mark has worked in Executive Search since 1991 and established PORATH Executive Search in 1997. He has successfully placed many senior executives and technical specialists across virtually all industries in both the public and private sectors of New Zealand.
Prior to entering the search industry he was export manager North America and Pacific for listed company Alex Harvey Industries, and then a senior general manager of Marac Holdings Group, a leading listed financial services company in New Zealand. Subsequently, he was Chief Executive of one of New Zealand’s largest private investment businesses.
Mark served as a director of the Outward Bound Trust of New Zealand 1998-2002, and is a director of various private companies in New Zealand and Australia. He was recently a prime mover in establishing New Zealand’s first University Sales Degree, pulling together the corporate power of Vodafone, NZ Post, ANZ Bank and AMP to support this initiative.
Mark and his wife, Barbara, have three grown sons and live in Auckland. Mark is an avid golfer (aspirant) and former rugby player (casualty). | | |
