Jesus Castillo

Mr. Jesus Castillo is Managing Partner of Contevenca, the largest executive search firm in Venezuela, with offices in Caracas, Valencia, Maracay, Maracaibo and Puerto La Cruz. Contevenca, established in 1976, is member of IIC Partners, one of the world's top 10 executive search organizations. Mr. Castillo has over 25 years of experience in the executive search field, having successfully conducted numerous assignments of CEOs and C-Level positions in Venezuela and other countries in Latin America, for local and multinational companies. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, a postgraduate degree in Marketing, and a Master in Business Administration (MBA). He also graduated from the Advanced Program in Executive Search of Cornell University (New York) and from the Advanced Program Leading Professional Services Firms of Harvard Business School (Boston). He is bilingual in Spanish and English. Mr. Castillo served as Director on the Board of IIC Partners and is a member of IIC Partners Energy and Consumer & Retail worldwide practice groups. He served as Director of the Americas Council of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) New York.Mr. Castillo was the President of the Human Resources committee of the Venezuelan American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VENAMCHAM).  He is a member of the board of the British Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce (Britcham), member of the German Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the French Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce.  In 2018 Mr. Castillo received in New York City the Award of Excellence of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), becoming the first Latin American to receive this important recognition.
