Sarah Carr Evans, Ph.D. is an industrial/organizational psychologist who specializes in executive assessment, selection, and coaching; leadership development; competency modeling; designing and executing mentoring programs; and career development.
As a consultant, Dr. Evans has assisted numerous Fortune 500, private, and non-profit organizations with their hiring and leadership development processes. Sarah also worked internally for one of the largest pediatric healthcare systems in the country overseeing their processes for leader-level selection, top-talent identification, and the assessment of participants invited to take part in a leadership development institute for supervisors, managers, directors and executives.
Additionally, she participated in the selection and assessment of high potential managers for an intensive management acceleration experience and managed the talent and succession planning programs.
Sarah is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from the University of Georgia where she earned a B.A. in English and psychology as well as an M.S. and Ph.D. in industrial/ organizational psychology. During her tenure at UGA, she taught psychology courses and published research on topics such as the benefits and challenges of mentoring relationships, the impact of internet recruiting on job seekers, and career pathing.Back to Furst Group
